Neurological Rehabilitation Outpatients

The Neurological Rehabilitation Outpatient Services is a multidisciplinary team designed to offer rehabilitation and support to people with a neurological condition impacting on their day to day life.

The service offers therapy and rehabilitation for a number of neurological conditions such as

  • Stroke
  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Brain Injury
  • Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
  • And more

Our specialist services include

  • Spasticity
  • Neurological rehabilitation
  • Upper limb rehabilitation
  • Cognition
  • Vocational rehabilitation

We offer a multi-disciplinary approach with staff from Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Sessions are held within the Therapy Outpatient areas at North Devon District hospital.

We also offer exercise classes online or at Petroc College.

Referrals can be made via your GP, health, social or mental health practitioner. Referrals should be sent to ndht.therapyreferrals@nhs.net We do not accept self-referrals.
