A lot of information about health, including illnesses and disorders, is available in other languages, for people from ethnic minorities and in Easy Read English for people with learning disabilities.

Health information in Polish
Run by NHS Scotland, but with a lot of information about specific conditions and illnesses

Health for Asylum Seekers and Refugees Portal (HARP)
An independent site that provides information for the NHS professionals and patients

Chinese National Healthy Living Centre
Designed to help the Chinese community in the UK, with more than 200 translated leaflets

Black Health Initiative
Leeds-based voluntary organisation, with a mass of information for the African and African-Caribbean communities

Race for Health
A national initiative to make the health service fairer for people from black and minority ethnic communities. Includes a large number of links to community health groups and national agencies, as well as examples of good practice.
