Histopathology

Histopathology is the study of disease in tissues. Whilst some diseases are obvious to the naked eye, Histopathology is characterised by the microscopic examination of cells in tissue samples.
All human tissues and organs can be examined in this way to provide a diagnosis or conformation of the presence or absence of disease.
