External Tests / Referral Laboratories

We refer a number of specialist tests away for analysis to other laboratories. To ensure those labs are providing a quality service we annually check their UKAS accreditation status to ensure they are also accredited. This provides a level of assurance to us and our users.

Referral laboratory accreditation status is checked annually as part of the scheduled audit programme.
