Consultation on future of community hospital services in Northern Devon

Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust has announced a six-week public consultation on the future of community hospital services in Northern Devon.

Consultation runs from 18 August until 29 September 2015.

This follows on from a two-month engagement process, where we have been talking to staff and stakeholders about our vision, the financial challenge and the context within which we have to deliver our services.

Consultation options

The options for consultation are:

  • Option A: Beds at two community hospitals
  • Option B: Beds at North Devon District Hospital (NDDH)
  • Option C: Beds at NDDH and one community hospital

All these options meet our requirements in terms of quality, safety, affordability, sustainability and were developed by the Trust following two meetings of a Stakeholder Review Group, where League of Friends members, councillors and other local representatives discussed, scored and weighted a range of criteria.

Please let us know which option you prefer and why. Fill in the consultation feedback form here.
