1. What is your job title and where do you work?
Group manager, unscheduled care. I look after cancer services and outpatient specialties and work with amazing people who are very patient focused.
2. What says ‘Christmas’ to you?
Hannah Keightley, my colleague, every day from the end of August!!! She’s slightly obsessed with Christmas…(and snow!)
3. Top tip for a great Christmas?
Make time for yourself, don’t run around after everyone else, and don’t stress about it; after all it’s just one day of the year…
4. Is there anything that happened in 2019 that you feel thankful for, or anyone you’d like to thank?
I am proud to be one of the Over and Above Charity ambassadors and so grateful to all who support the charity, either by donating or doing their own fundraising. Fundraising is a lot of hard work but those efforts are visible in lots of areas across the Trust to the benefit of our patients. Well done and keep up the good work.
5. Have you got a goal for 2020?
Professionally: To continue working at NDDH with my amazing colleagues and supporting the teams to continue delivering quality services to our local population. Non-professionally, I’ve just started selling my crafts online – Mudlark Crafts – crafting is my distraction when I’m not at work!
