Last autumn, we asked our staff, patients and stakeholders for feedback on the principles that would guide our development of a joint Patient Experience Strategy.
This is a really exciting piece of work that will shape how we continually improve the experience of our patients at NDHT and RD&E over the next three years.
We have taken your feedback about our patient experience principles and developed this into five strategic priorities.
For each priority, we have set out what we want to achieve, how we plan to achieve it, and how we will measure our progress. We know from your feedback that this last point is really important to you all.
We’d really like to know if you think we’ve got these priorities right. We have created a short online survey, which you can complete at: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/PE2225/
It will only take a few minutes and is completely anonymous. The survey closes on Friday 8 April 2022.
We will use this feedback to review our strategy once more before publication. Our strategy is a very high level document and therefore you may feel it does not have a great deal of detail. Once our strategy is published, a work plan will be developed with our staff that contains more specific, detailed actions.
We are really proud of the feedback we get from NDHT and RD&E patients. It reflects many things, not least the kind and compassionate care that our staff provide. We believe this strategy will take us further still, and act as a strong foundation to ensure that a focus on patient experience is at the core of every aspect of our activity, and in tangible and measurable ways.
We hope you can take the opportunity now to help us make sure we’ve got it right.
Thank you.
