Life can be busy but is all about balance. Making sure that you balance out your time spent working, being productive and essential jobs with leisure activities is key to maintaining your mental health. Evidence suggests we should spend our days doing an equal amount of work, essential tasks and leisure but most of us don’t manage this. Think of the activities that are important to you, make you happy or give you piece and make sure you have built in time to complete them in your week. Try and complete at least one meaningful activity a day. Invest in yourself doing these tasks that make you who you are. This way you can stay you and not become lost or unwell.
