Make the most of small amounts of time

I find it helpful to do a bit of exercise, meditation, calming breathing etc when there is just a short space of time. You may do one or two each day but I find it helps.

E.g. exercise during the 10 minutes my meal is cooking

Get up 15 minutes earlier and go for a walk – outside preferably (Try to catch the sunrise). Walking up and down the stairs is an indoor option. Hazard warning – try not to fall over my cat!

Add a short detour to my journey home to give me a 30 minute walk.

Walk round the kitchen while waiting for the kettle to boil.

Set aside 10 minutes a day either to meditation, practice mindfulness, or remember the good things from the day. there are always some if you search for them.
