Gratitude to each other

My team have a thank you board at the entrance of our work area, we use this to complement each other or say thank you for anything it can be the littles of things, such as making someone a hot drink when they come back from busy visits, or offering a shoulder to cry on, positive feedback regarding a difficult situation they have dealt with.

Anyone can add a comment, and when the board is full we email them out to people so (if they have missed the notice on the board they get a thank you, and also if appropriate they can be used to evidence the trusts values in the appraisal . It allows good work to be recognised by each other’s, and is a way the team is learning to practice gratitude. It doesn’t take much effort, but can be a real moral boost to staff.
