University of Plymouth recognises NDHT occupational therapist with mentor award

Josie Oakden, occupational therapist at NDHT, has been recognised by the University of Plymouth School of Health Professions for supporting students.

Josie was nominated by students on a BSc Occupational Therapy programme in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the support of practice-based learning.

At NDHT, we strive to ensure student healthcare professionals are provided quality placements. This enables students to develop their knowledge and skills to grow professionally and to deliver competent, confident care as they become registered professionals.

Well done to Josie for providing an outstanding experience for our next generation of occupational therapists.
