Cubicle on children’s ward has whole new look thanks to care charity

A cubicle in Caroline Thorpe Ward has a spanking new look thanks to the generosity of the charity Care for Kids North Devon.

The charity paid for Cubicle 4 to be given a complete makeover, with new colours on the walls, shelving, artwork, blinds, and chairs. Door in cubicle painted with beach scene

The new-look cubicle is the latest of a series of enhancements that Care For Kids has funded in North Devon District Hospital’s children’s ward. Others have included refurbishments to other cubicles, digital wall art in the playroom, pictures up the stairwell and improved facilities for parents and carers.

Fran Greenaway, Play Specialist on Caroline Thorpe Ward and Chair of Care for Kids North Devon, said: “We are delighted with the new look to Cubicle 4. It’s created a much more comfortable, welcoming environment and we know it will mean a better experience for patients using it.”
