Healthcare assistant Becca Hine wins award from the Royal Humane Society

Becca Hine, healthcare assistant (HCA) on Tarka Ward and volunteer staff sergeant in the Devon Army Cadet Force, has been recognised by the Royal Humane Society.

In December last year, Becca saved the life of a person who collapsed in Barnstaple. She performed CPR and got help. In recognition of this, Becca has received the ‘Resuscitation Certificate of the Society’ award from the Royal Humane Society. The society issues just a handful of these awards each year.

The Army Cadet Force presented Becca with her award at an awards evening. Congratulations to Becca for this award and for her quick thinking and life-saving actions.
