Nurses and student nurses invited to recruitment open day at NDDH

Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust (NDHT) is holding a recruitment open day for nurses on Saturday 6 July at North Devon District Hospital (NDDH).

Experienced nurses, those looking to return to practice, and nurses who are newly qualified or will qualify within the next 12 months are all invited to come and meet a variety of staff.

They will have the opportunity to have a tour of the hospital and meet nursing staff who work across acute and community settings.

Staff will be on hand to talk about the range of rotational opportunities on offer, career development support, what it is like to work at NDHT and why we are the top NHS trust in the South West for staff motivation and satisfaction. There will also be opportunities to have an interview on the day.

The event will take place in the Seamoor Unit at NDDH from 10am to 2pm.

Darryn Allcorn, chief nurse, said: “Our staff are our biggest and best asset, and this was made clear in the latest NHS Staff Survey when we achieved one of the highest scores in the country for staff engagement.

“The survey results also showed that our staff feel supported to make a difference in their workplace and are happy with their quality of work.

“Whether you are a nurse looking for a change of role, just starting out on your career path, or are looking to relocate to beautiful northern Devon, we’d love to say hello and show you what we can offer at NDHT.”

Anyone who is interested in being interviewed on the day can fast-track their application by completing the online application form in advance or by contacting our recruitment team on 01392 356023.
