We’re supporting National Apprenticeship Week and highlighting the valuable contribution of our apprentices

This week (4-8 March) is National Apprenticeship Week and brings the whole apprenticeship community together to celebrate the impact of apprenticeships on individuals, employers and the economy.

Throughout the week we will be celebrating the fantastic contribution apprentices make to the Trust. Be sure to check our Facebook and Twitter pages regularly this week to see our apprentices talk about their experience.

Apprenticeships are a great path for people at any stage of their career from those starting out, to those re-entering the workforce, or those wanting to reskill or change careers. Since 2008 we have welcomed 141 new apprentices into the organisation and supported a further 330 existing staff to develop their careers through an apprenticeship.

This week we will be sharing our apprenticeship stories with our staff, patients and the local community as well as holding a celebration event to mark their success.  If you are currently at school then you might be one of the lucky ones that will be attending our careers event on Friday 8 March.
