Hyper Awareness

Have you been told your HbA1c is a bit high? Do you struggle to know what is going on with your blood sugars on a day to day basis but don’t check your own blood sugar levels? Here are some symptoms of high blood sugars that might help you recognise hyperglycaemia (raised blood sugar levels):

  • Needing to urinate more often, especially during the night
  • Being very thirsty and a dry mouth
  • Headaches
  • Feeling tired or weak
  • Blurred vision
  • Recurrent thrush, cystitis or skin infections
