Honey’s Bravery Bags visits Caroline Thorpe Ward

The founder of the charity Honey’s Bravery Bags, Grace Brown, and her daughter Honey visited Caroline Thorpe Ward last week to give tins of sweets to the children receiving treatment on the ward.

Grace set up Honey’s Bravery Bags after Honey was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. Grace was determined to give something back to those who helped her and her family during their time of need.

The charity now provides a bag of bravery for children with life-threatening, life-limiting and terminal illnesses and their siblings in the North Devon area.

Since 2016 they have provided 68 bags of bravery, which bring some light relief in what can be a difficult time for the children and their siblings.
