Exmouth hospital gets into Jubilee spirit

Patient Kath McMullan had the honour of cutting the Jubilee cake

STAFF and patients at Exmouth Hospital celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with town mayor John Humphries.

Cllr Humphries paid a special visit to the hospital and brought a colourful Jubilee cake for the staff on duty.
The hospital chef made a Victoria sponge for patients and visitors, which was served on antique china reserved for special occasions.

Both wards were decorated with flags and bunting while staff printed out the order of service for the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral so patients could follow what was happening.
