We welcome all feedback about our services and encourage everyone to let us know how they feel about the care they have received. We have ‘Tell us what you think’ leaflets in all of our wards and departments and which can also be completed online here.
The responses are analysed and any areas requiring action identified. Monthly feedback is displayed in notice boards in all areas and on our website here
All feedback is reviewed, enabling us to pick up trends. Areas that we have focussed on over the past year include staff communication skills and attitude, and levels of aggression towards staff.
We also produce regular reports on the experience of patients, as reported back from sources including the ‘Tell us what you think’ leaflets, complaints, issues handled by our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), surveys and public feedback on the NHS choices and Patient Opinion websites to help us decide what action, if any, we need to take
