Welcome to the Oak Centre, Devon and Torbay’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).

We provide a comprehensive support service to help if you’ve experienced rape and/or sexual assault. We operate across all of Devon, apart from Plymouth.

Our specialist workers focus entirely on your needs and wishes as a victim of sexual assault, discussing options, helping you make your own decisions about care, and providing emotional and practical support.

To get help from us, you need to be referred to the Oak Centre by your GP, by another health/social care professional, such as a nurse or a social worker, or by the police.

However, you do not have to report to the police to access most of our services.

We understand that the range of options and services might seem confusing. The diagram here helps to explain what help we can offer, depending on your circumstances and choices.
