Dr Tony Laycock

Dr Laycock qualified BM in 1978 at the University of Southamton. After House Jobs including a year of paediatric medicine he became an Anaesthetic Registrar and then later an Anaesthetic Senior Registrar (SR) in Glasgow. His training included to two spells working at Yorkhill Children’s Hospital in Glasgow, where he published several research papers on paediatric anaesthesia. He also worked as a senior registrar in Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool and in Green Lane Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand and as a consultant at the Manchester Children’s Hospital, the Royal Hobart Hospital, Australia and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He has worked as a consultant in adult and paediatric anaesthesia in Barnstaple since 1993.
