endoscopyService Description: Endoscopy is a minimally invasive diagnostic medical procedure used to investigate the interior surfaces of an organ by inserting a thin, flexible tube with a camera on the end into the body. It is commonly used to investigate digestive problems.

The diagnostic and therapeutic upper & lower gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures are carried out by Gastroenterologists, Surgeons, Nurse Endoscopists and GP practitioners.

At NDDH, endoscopy is provided in a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite which use the latest technology and modern video scopes. This includes the ECRP procedure (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreotography) to diagnose and treat diseases of the bial ducts which might include gall stones and cancer.
