The drugs quoted in the North Devon Hospital Formulary (NDHF) are selected by evidence based criteria. They parallel those in the North Devon Primary Care Formulary. Proposed amendments to the NDHF should be relayed to Medicines Information (ext 2393). Drugs for potential inclusion in the NDHF should be notified to the Drugs and Therapeutics Committee on a request for the assessment of a new medicine form.
The North Devon Hospital Formulary contains limited prescribing information on the drugs that are stocked by Pharmacy, NDDH. For full prescribing details please refer to the Summary of Product Characteristics or the British National Formulary.
