Visiting times
We welcome visitors from 11am to 7.30pm, but would ask you avoid visiting between 12.30pm and 2.30pm, so the patients have a quiet time during and after lunch.
Newspapers
League of Friends provide two daily newspapers and a weekly local journal for patients’ use.
Phones
There is a ward cordless phone which can be taken to patients if there are incoming calls.
Parking
On-site parking is free, but limited. Please ask your visitors to be sensitive to local residents when leaving their vehicles to come and see you.
League of Friends
The Tyrrell Hospital League of Friends plays an important role in supporting the hospital and providing much needed equipment. Members also raise money for ‘extras’ to support patients.
If you would like to find out more or to help, please ask at the hospital reception for League of Friends contact details.
