From June 2010, every NHS Trust is required to produce a Quality Account. This important document sets out how we continue to improve the quality of the services we provide.
Quality Accounts are about opening up a dialogue about quality with patients, the public and others who have a stake in our work. They cover three areas:
- Patients’ safety
- The effectiveness of our care
- Patients’ experience
Within these areas, Quality Accounts aim to cover the things that matter most to patients and the public.
